COVID-19: NB holding at 118 (Apr. 24, 2020)
The latest COVID-19 report to the Village of Salisbury from the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization is that, for the sixth consecutive day, there have been a total of 118 positive tests for the Coronavirus in New Brunswick out of 12,418 total tests now performed. As of April 24th, there have been 107 confirmed recoveries. Of the 11 active cases, 4 of the patients are hospitalized, and one is in ICU. Mar. 8-15 -- 11 new confirmed cases (for a total of 17)
Mar. 15-22 -- 49 more cases (66)
Mar. 22-29 -- 35 more cases (101)
Mar. 29-Apr. 5 -- 13 more cases (114)
Apr. 5-present -- 4 more cases (118)
Meantime, the New Brunswick Government has added a new category under the Community Investment Fund to support non-profit groups affected by COVID-19. This funding will provide eligible small to medium-sized non-profits with grants between $500 and $10,000. The application form and program information can be found online ( here ).
