COVID-19 Update: Atlantic Bubble to Start on July 3rd
The week of June 22-26, 2020 was eventful with regards to the Coronavirus pandemic with the news that the four Atlantic provinces will soon form an open-travel zone, meaning residents can travel between New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador without having to self-isolate. Meantime, the work-week closed with New Brunswick announcing that under its State of Emergency Mandatory Order, Zone 5 (Campbellton region) is being advanced to the third stage of the province's recovery plan (the "Yellow" phase), joining the rest of New Brunswick ( June 26th news release ). June 26th saw no new cases and another recovery, leaving 13 active cases, including two in hospital (one in intensive care). Two people have died from COVID-19 in New Brunswick.
