COVID-19: Rules to Tighten in NB

The New Brunswick Government has announced that as of 11:59pm on September 21st, people must wear masks in indoor public places. This news comes as cases of COVID-19 continue to climb rapidly. The Provincial government had previously announced that it will be cracking down on access to events and activities, also as of 11:59pm, September 21st. Full vaccination must be proved in order to attend indoor sporting events or gatherings, restaurants or bars, movie theatres, indoor recreation facilities (gyms, pools), weddings, funerals, conferences, workshops, and when visiting long-term care facilities. Meantime, the number of active cases of the coronavirus in the province as of September 20th is 484, including 23 patients in hospital, of which 14 are in intensive care. Reported were 199 new cases between September 18-20, including 46 new cases in Zone 1 (Moncton region).
