On behalf of CN, the Town of Salisbury wishes to advise residents and motorists of upcoming work to undertake a full rehabilitation of the railway crossing on Reeder Road.
Location: Reeder Road at the railway crossing.
Date and time: Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (estimated)
Work details: This road closure is required to allow for urgent CN railway crossing repair work at the crossing to maintain safe conditions for rail and road users.
Traffic impact: A temporary single-lane crossing will be constructed starting on Saturday, May 30, for the duration of this work, which will allow for access to Reeder Road and Morgan Drive. The road will remain open while the temporary access is constructed. Signage and flaggers provided by AVP will be in place while railway work is ongoing on June 4. Delays accessing and departing Reeder Road should be expected for the duration of the work.
