With 97 new cases of COVID-19 in New Brunswick announced on December 3rd, the Provincial government unveiled a new plan for combatting spread of the coronavirus. Health Minister Dorothy Shephard says it will consist of a three-level alert system, with all of NB to be placed at Level 1 on Saturday, Dec. 4th at 11:59pm.

The 97 new cases announced on Dec. 3rd include 13 in Zone 1, known as the Moncton region. This is the region that includes Salisbury and surrounding area. There are now 711 active cases of COVID-19 in New Brunswick, including 49 in hospital. Of those, 16 are in intensive care.
