Citing signs that hospitalizations and case numbers have begun to plateau, and a decline in the number of health-care workers in isolation, at 11:59pm on February 18 New Brunswick will move back to Level 1 of its Coronavirus Recovery Winter Plan.
At this point, households will no longer be restricted to a steady 10 or 20 contacts, and retail will be permitted to open to full capacity, although in some cases proof of vaccination will still have to be shown. Masks remain mandatory in indoor public spaces, and in outdoor public spaces when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
The Province offers the specifics of this change back to Level 1, as well as a number of helpful links, in its press release HERE.
