The New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) continues to work on repairs to Route 106 in Salisbury.
As of Friday, January 13, preparations for the installation of the temporary one-lane bridge remain on-schedule for an opening by January 20 (weather permitting).
As a reminder, the official detour for this closure is on Upper Mountain Road, the Homestead Road, and Route 112. Any motorists using the residential areas of Parkin Street and Larsen Lane for through-traffic are urged to proceed with caution and respect the posted signage. Motorists are urged to use the official detour and limit passage through residential subdivisions for local traffic only.
The Town of Salisbury continues to work with DTI for updates on the repair of this provincial infrastructure, and both the Town and DTI appreciate the understanding and patience of residents and motorists throughout this closure.
