The Town of Salisbury wishes to advise that for the Community Days events scheduled to take place at Highland Park on Saturday, August 15, between 11:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Event Parking Restrictions will be initiated as per By-Law 15, which was approved in April, 2025.
Special Event Parking Restrictions are intended to ensure emergency vehicle access, traffic flow, and access to and from residential properties neighbouring Highland Park. When the restrictions are in effect, no person shall stop or park a vehicle on the side(s) of road designated with No Parking signs.
Streets affected include:
Highland Drive
Delong Street
Gordon Street
Chad Crescent
MacDonald Road
Douglas Street
Pylons will be used to clearly identify the sides of these streets where parking is not permitted. Residents in the affected area will receive a door knocker on Thursday, August 13.
During this event, parking is available on the opposite side of the street (where no pylons are present), at Salisbury Regional School, Salisbury Lions Club, the Wetland Trail parking area, and at Highland Park. The Town will be promoting parking options as the event approaches.
For more information, residents are encouraged to consult the Town’s By-law No. 15, A By-law of the Municipality of Salisbury Relating to Traffic: https://salisburynb.ca/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/By-law-No-15-15-1-Consolidated-Traffic.pdf.
The Town appreciates the patience and understanding of residents, motorists, and event attendees.
