The Town of Salisbury is pleased to announce that due to an ongoing partnership with Horizon Health and the Petitcodiac Health Centre, one-at-a-time therapy services will be offered weekly in Salisbury on Wednesdays, beginning on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
One-at-a-time therapy provides open-access to counselling for those needing to speak to a trained counsellor regarding addictions and mental health related issues. This form of therapy is focused on real-time needs and focuses on a client’s strengths and helps identify potential next steps. There is no lengthy assessment and no wait list.
The Town of Salisbury will be providing the space to Horizon Health in the former Recreation and Wellness Office, located beside the Helping Hands Food Bank (64 Douglas Street, Salisbury). Appointments can be booked now by phoning the Salisbury Primary Care Office at 506-372-3319.
The Therapist for Horizon Health will be Kelli Etheridge, a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) with an extensive background in the mental health field.
With this form of therapy, future appointments are not scheduled, but clients are welcomed to return when needed, or if they require counselling on another issue in the future.
The Town of Salisbury is pleased to be building onto the partnership with Horizon Health to offer community-based health services in the community.
