As of Thursday, April 24, due to renovations at Salisbury Town Hall (56 Douglas Street) now taking place on the main level, in-person visits to Town Hall are by-appointment only.
These measures will be in place until renovations are completed, which is expected to be early Summer. During this time, residents are advised of the following:
- Payments via e-transfer to finance@salisburynb.ca are preferred.
- On Fridays from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, the Town will be available in-person next door at 62 Douglas Street for in-person payments.
- For recreation-related programming, such as ball hockey and fitness classes, please refer to registration details for additional payment options in addition to e-transfers.
- Phone lines and emails will be monitored as usual. In-person visits for other matters are by-appointment only.
Renovations being undertaken consist of energy efficiency upgrades, accessibility upgrades to the entrance, council chambers, and reception area, as well as space reconfigurations to better serve the public.
