The Town of Salisbury wishes to advise motorists and residents of a planned capital project on MacDonald Road beginning on Monday, June 23, 2025, and expected to last until mid-August.
The work involves the pulverizing and re-surfacing of approximately 190 metres of street, as well as the extension of sidewalk, from Main Street to Chad Cresent.
During the work, detours will be in place. Through-traffic will be permitted to sites within the project limits. Other motorists must use Gordon Street >> Highland Drive >> Chad Crescent (in both directions). Detour signs will be in place, as will flaggers who will control and direct traffic during the work.
The Town reminds motorists to be vigilant for construction signage and to respect the directions of traffic flaggers. The patience of motorists and nearby residents is appreciated as we undertake this project.
Residents within the project limits received direct notices with respect to access and municipal services, such as waste collection.
