The Town of Salisbury wishes to advise residents and motorists that the Town will be undertaking a capital improvement project on Main Street (Route 106) between Fredericton Road and 3251 Main Street beginning on Tuesday, August 6. The work is expected to be complete by the end of August.

The work entails the milling and paving of approximately 1.3 kilometres between Fredericton Road and 3251 Main Street. The work is being undertaken by the Town of Salisbury through the Provincial Municipal Highways Program (PMHP).

During the work, residents can anticipate construction-related inconveniences such as temporary lane closures and/or slight delays as the work progresses. A minimum of one lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Motorists are asked to respect the construction signage that will be in place and exercise caution when travelling through the area. Public notices have been delivered to properties along the area(s) of work to advise them of this work.

The Town appreciates the understanding and patience of motorists and residents as we undertake this project. Additional details on capital improvement projects this year can be found on the Town’s website: https://salisburynb.ca/2024-capital-projects/.
