Salisbury Town Council holds its public meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. If Monday is a holiday, the meeting will be held on the following business day.

The public meeting on the second Monday is the Regular Council Meeting (RCM) and its usual start-time is 7:00 PM.

The public meeting on the fourth Monday is the Committee of the Whole (COTW) meeting and its usual start-time is 6:00 PM.

Meeting agendas will be posted prior to the meetings and the official minutes will be posted after being approved by Council in a Regular or Special meeting.

The following information is not the official version of these documents. The Municipality will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information presented is accurate and complete. 2026 Council Meetings

* There will be neither a Regular Council Meeting nor a Committee of the Whole Meeting in April, due to the May 11 Municipal Election.
* There will be neither a Regular Council Meeting nor a Committee of the Whole Meeting in May, also due to the election.
* The Regular Council Meeting of June 8 will instead be considered a Special Council Meeting for the sole purpose of Oath of Office for the newly elected Council members.
* There will not be a Committee of the Whole meeting in July.
* There will not be a Committee of the Whole meeting in August.
* NEW * The Regular Council Meeting in September will be cancelled.
* NEW * A Special Council Meeting will be held September 21 at Salisbury Lions Club (Public Hearing for Amendment to By-law No. 17, Zoning By-law)
* There will be a meeting on Tuesday, October 13 instead of on Monday, October 12 due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
* The status of the Committee of the Whole Meeting in December is To Be Determined (TBD). Often in the past, in lieu of this meeting, a Special Council Meeting is held instead closer to the end of December.
