The Salisbury Department of Recreation and Wellness offices are located on the second floor of the Municipal Building at 56 Douglas Street. The Department consists of three full-time staff members and students hired to help in the Summer months. The Department is responsible for recreational programming, leisure and wellness activities, and events to provide opportunities and encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle for the community. The Town of Salisbury invites you to join us for the annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Highland Park. Registration begins at 12:30 PM, with participants heading out at 1:00 PM. Everyone is welcome!
Choose the route that works best for you:
• 1 km Wetland Trail loop for those who prefer a shorter distance or a walk
Help us honour Terry Fox’s incredible legacy while raising funds for the Terry Fox Foundation and its important work. To donate, visit our Town’s page: https://run.terryfox.ca/129982 Terry Fox T-shirts are available for purchase at the Town Office until September 20, while supplies last. T-shirts will also be available for cash purchase at the event. Cash donations will also be accepted at the event, and every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated.

Presenting...the 2026 Town T-Shirt!
The Town of Salisbury is pleased to announce that this year’s winning T-Shirt design concept was created by students of Salisbury Regional School (SRS). The design features a collage-style image incorporating the Town of Salisbury’s logo outline, filled with hand-drawn flowers contributed by students from every grade level. A single hand-drawn Purple Violet will appear on the front of the T-shirt, accompanied by the words “Town of Salisbury.” All flowers featured in the design are species commonly found throughout our region of New Brunswick. The Town would like to extend its sincere thanks to all SRS students who contributed to this collaborative project. We would also like to recognize Art Teacher, Caroline Humar-Barrett, for her creativity, leadership, and dedication in bringing together so many young artists to create this remarkable design.
Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry. We received dozens of designs that would have made excellent T-shirts. We would also like to congratulate our runners-up, Rebekah Power, Josée Cormier, and Mitl and Sarah Gaxiola, for their beautiful and creative submissions.

The Town of Salisbury’s Financial Assistance for Recreation (FAR) program will receive a donation of $5 from the proceeds of the sale of each T-shirt.
The aim of the FAR program is to ensure that all youth in the Town of Salisbury, regardless of their financial circumstances, have equal access to recreational opportunities.

The amphitheatre at Salisbury’s Highland Park is open to public use and is available to rent upon request through the Town Office. Please fill out this form with information pertaining to your rental request to be reviewed. Once your request has been approved, you will receive an email with confirmation and all need-to-know information.
There is no cost associated with renting the amphitheatre.
* Please note that Highland Park is a public space and the park itself cannot be rented or closed for a private event. Town events and their associated dates will be prioritized for amphitheatre use. *
