The Town of Salisbury wishes to advise motorized and pedestrian trail users that the NB-Trail, between Main Street and the Railway Trestle, will re-open as of 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
After construction delays, the trestle upgrades are now completed. The work included removing and replacing the former decking, installing upgraded decking and structural re-enforcements, and the installation of timber curb and railing.
As a reminder, this portion of the trail between Fredericton Road and Ayles Road is owned by the Town of Salisbury. It is a multi-use trail, meaning accessible for both pedestrian and motorized users. Trail users are expected to share the trail and motorized users must proceed with caution.
