The Town of Salisbury wishes to advise both motorists and pedestrians that starting on Tuesday, April 29, the NB Trail (former railbed) trestle bridge will be CLOSED to all users to permit upgrades to be undertaken.
The closure is necessary to undertake the replacement of wooden decking and to install timber railings along each side of the bridge. The bridge will be closed in-full for the duration of the project. The project is expected to take 30 days to complete. During construction, signage will be in-place on both approaches to the bridge, in addition to physical barricades.
The Town appreciates the understanding and patience of both pedestrian and ATV Club users during the upgrades.
