The New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) has advised the Town of Salisbury that Route 106 will be closed at Ontario Drive for a culvert replacement on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
The closure is expected to begin at 8:30AM on Tuesday and will last one day. Motorists are encouraged to consult NB-511 for further updates: https://www.gnb.ca/511.
Following the posting of signs by DTI on Thursday, the Town has received inquiries as to whether or not this closure is for the completion of work at the WM-32 Culvert (located between Parkin Street and Larsen Lane in Salisbury). This one-day closure next week is NOT for the same project. DTI has advised the Town that due to unforeseen circumstances, this project will not be completed this year.
