PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Town of Salisbury intends to consider a proposed By-law to amend By-law No. 50, the “Village of Salisbury Municipal Plan” and a proposed By-law to amend By-law No. 51, the “Village of Salisbury Zoning By-law.

The purpose of the proposed amendments are as follows:

  • Redesignate and rezone the property known as PID # 00816140, located off Dundee Drive and MacDonald Street, from Residential to Village Centre on the Future Land Use Map and Zoning Map for the purpose of developing a multi unit residential development (up to three (3) 6-unit buildings and two (2) 8-unit buildings).
  • Change the minimum lot area requirements for multiple unit dwellings in the Village Centre and Residential Neighbourhood Service zones (to match provincial regulations).

Any person wishing to inspect the proposed By-laws may do so at the Municipal Office, 56 Douglas Street, Salisbury, NB during regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday except holidays.

Council has set by resolution a special Council Meeting on Wednesday August 7th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Office, 56 Douglas Street, Salisbury, N.B., as the date, time, and place for the PUBLIC HEARING for any person wishing to speak for or against the proposed amendments.
