On Monday, May 11, New Brunswickers will head to the polls to elect their local government representatives, as well as District Education Council members.
Residents of the Town of Salisbury will elect a mayor and seven councillors. Like the mayor, one councillor is an at-large position for which all eligible voters living in the entire Town can cast votes.
The other six council members will receive votes from residents in the designated electoral wards of the Town. Ward 1, Ward 2 and Ward 4 each have one councillor, while there are three councillors assigned to Ward 3, which is the area of the former Village.
Nominations opened on Monday, March 23.
