The Town of Salisbury wishes to advise motorists and residents of a planned capital project on River Road (Route 112) beginning on Monday, April 13, 2026, and expected to last eight weeks (until June 5, 2026).
This work consists of the extension of existing storm sewer on the East side of River Road, as well as the infilling of ditches, addition of sidewalk (also on the East side), and addition of a crosswalk between the new sidewalk on River Road and Douglas Street.
During the work, traffic control will be in place when active construction is ongoing, including temporary lane closures. Flaggers will be in-place. The Town reminds motorists to be vigilant for construction signage and to respect the directions of traffic flaggers, in addition to existing traffic control measures (P380 temporary lighting, and school zone speed limit) in the vicinity.
The patience of motorists and nearby residents is appreciated as we undertake this project. Residents within the project limits received direct notices with respect to access and municipal services, such as waste collection.
