The Town of Salisbury wishes to advise motorists and residents of a planned capital project on Main Street (Route 106) at the intersection of Main Street and Reeder Road. The work is expected to begin on July 2 and be completed by July 18, 2025.
During the work, one lane of traffic is expected remain open at all times. This includes access for those living on Reeder Road requiring access onto Route 106 (Main Street). Flaggers and signage will be on-site for the full duration of the work.
This underground culvert crossing a Provincial highway is a municipal responsibility, given the Town’s storm system is directly connected to the culvert. The Town is undertaking this replacement to prevent further erosion on the road and to ensure proactive management of the underground assets.
The Town reminds motorists to be vigilant for construction signage and to respect the directions of traffic flaggers. The patience of motorists and nearby residents is appreciated as we undertake this project.
