Today, the Town of Salisbury joins friends, family, our firefighters, and community members in mourning the passing of Captain Tim Dryden.
Tim was a Captain on Salisbury Fire Rescue, who showed unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe. Tim was the essence of what it meant to serve communities as a volunteer member, having recently been provided a medal for his 25+ years of service at the 2024 Fire Department Christmas Dinner (he served for 27 years). After joining the Department young, Tim was eventually promoted to Captain and has filled many hats for the Department, including as the Fire Prevention Officer.
Our community is better off because of his service, and his passing is a great loss to both the Salisbury Fire Rescue Department and our community at-large.
Town flags have been lowered to half mast. Our thoughts are with Tim’s family and members of our Department.
