Due to unforeseen circumstances that have required various repairs, the Salisbury Lions Pool will see a delay in opening.
The Town has been working as fast as possible to repair several leaks that were identified when refilling began several weeks ago. Given the nature of the leaks, and the numerous steps taken to address them, these issues could not have been identified during routine maintenance and/or prior to re-filling commencing. While several have been repaired, additional leak issues became apparent when refilling commenced today. Work is ongoing to repair these issues.
All registrants of swimming lessons and those who purchased swim passes will be notified via email of a similar announcement shortly.
The Town expects to be able to issue further updates in the coming days.
