Our crews are still working at repairing leaks at the Salisbury Lions Pool. Additional work is expected tomorrow (July 4), at which point we expect the pool to be able to hold water.
As of now, the pool will not open this week. While an opening next week is unlikely, we will continue to work as quickly as possible to repair the leaks, fill the pool, and balance the water.
Our Recreation Department continues to modify swimming lesson schedules as the situation changes and additional repairs are undertaken. Additional details on any change(s) to swimming lesson schedules will be communicated to families next week.
We appreciate the ongoing patience and understanding of both pool users and residents. We expect to issue another update next week, once refilling has been completed again and we can assess if all leaks have been resolved.
