Here is the update you’ve been waiting for! As of yesterday (July 8), leaks appear to have been fixed. Final plumbing repairs are being undertaken and expected to be completed tomorrow (July 10).
Here is what this means:
- We expect the pool to open next week, with swimming lessons also starting next week as well. A final/confirmed opening date is expected to be communicated by Friday.
- The Town, in consultation with the Life Saving Society, has determined that only one session of swimming lesson session will be offered, due to the condensed schedule. Refunds will be offered for those who have paid for two sessions, and for those who wish to no longer participate in any lessons due to scheduling conflicts. Specific details will be sent via email to all families at the end of the week, along with a notice of revised pool schedule for the summer. Refunds will not be processed until the schedule is finalized and communicated to participants.
