Salisbury’s first ever municipal Strategic Plan has been approved.
The decision at the July 10, 2023, Regular Meeting of Council followed several months of consultations, resulting in a document that clearly identifies Salisbury’s vision, its mission and its values, providing Council and municipal Staff with a guide for the next three years.
The Strategic Plan includes a number of operational and long-term priorities and realistic goals, sets benchmarks and measurables for progress, and creates an annual reporting process for accountability. It focuses on: Economic Development and Sustainability; Governance and Service Excellence; Infrastructure; Safety and Stewardship; and Community and Quality of Life. The Plan will be updated annually as needed.
