During the year there are two or three, depending on in which Ward of Salisbury you live, special bulk solid waste collections.

These special roadside pick-ups are for items that would not normally be collected with regular household waste each week, such as: appliances, furniture, lumber and yard waste (tied in 4’ lengths), tires (limit of two per household) and other large items.

(NOTE: Hazardous materials including chemicals, batteries, propane tanks, paint etc. are not to be put out for any form of roadside collection and must instead be taken to the Mobile Eco Depot when it comes to the community.)
