Public Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the Town of Salisbury intends to consider an updated Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law. The updated Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law is intended to cover the new municipal boundaries of the Town of Salisbury and is a consolidation of land use policies from the former Village of Salisbury Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law along with the applicable policies and regulations contained in the Westmorland-Albert Rural Plan Regulation.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed Municipal Plan By-law No. 16 and Zoning By-law No. 17 may do so at the Municipal Office, 56 Douglas Street, Salisbury, N.B. during regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday except holidays, or online via the Southeast Regional Service Commission website at www.plan360.ca/area/salisbury/By-laws/Relateddocuments.
Council has set the Committee of the Whole meeting of Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Salisbury Lions Club, 63 Peter Street, Salisbury, N.B., as the date, time, and place for the Public Hearing for the new Town of Salisbury Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law.
It is at this Public Hearing that written submissions will be addressed, and the public are invited to comment either in support or in opposition of the new by-laws.
