Public Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the Town of Salisbury intends to consider a proposed By-law to amend By-law No. 16, the “Town of Salisbury Municipal Plan,” and a proposed By-law to amend By-law No. 17, the “Town of Salisbury Zoning By-law.’’

The proposed By-laws are intended to redesignate and rezone the property known as PID # 01052695, located at Homestead Road, Salisbury, from Rural to Industrial on the Future Land Use Map and from Rural Area zone to Industrial zone on the Zoning Map. The purpose of these amendments is to permit the operation consisting of a shopping cart repair facility and repair and maintenance company for grocery stores from this location.

Any person wishing to inspect the proposed By-laws may do so at the Municipal Office, 56 Douglas Street, Salisbury, NB during regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday except holidays, or by viewing the draft by-laws on https://salisburynb.ca/municipal-office/by-laws/.

Council has set by resolution the Committee of the Whole meeting of Council of January 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Office, 56 Douglas Street, Salisbury, N.B., as the date, time, and place for the Public Hearing of Council’s intent to amend the Municipal Plan.
