During the Regular Council Meeting of October 14, 2025, Salisbury Town Council held first and second readings of By-Law No. 15-1, a By-Law to Amend By-Law No. 15, a By-Law of the Municipality of Salisbury Relating to Traffic.
The proposed amendment, as discussed in Committee of the Whole on Sept. 22, will introduce a new schedule to the By-law, allowing the Town to designate “No Parking” zones. This follows Council’s support of a request from the Salisbury Lions Club to enact a no-parking designation on the northeast side of Peter Street to enable safe passage of vehicles, notably emergency responders. By adding this schedule, future amendments of this nature will only require a motion of Council.
